What is a Telecare Brighton Alarm?
A lifeline alarm from Telecare Choice consists of two parts: the base unit connected into your telephone line, and the waterproof wearable pendant button. Both parts work together to create an easy to use service for the people of Brighton. The Telecare Choice alarm ensures that there is always somebody available should you need help, and are our monitoring centre is there to answer your call 24/7.
Telecare Choice Base Unit
The base unit of the alarm is connected into your main telephone line which means it is easily able to contact our monitoring centre.
The unit features a loudspeaker and microphone so our monitoring centre can easily speak to the user.
The alarm connects to the pendant, but can also be connected up to a smoke detector. This means that if the detector was activated, the alarm would dial through to our monitoring centre.
Telecare Accessories
Alongside the Telecare Alarm we also have a range of Telecare accessories for you to purchase. These include a selection of Keysafes.
Keysafes are metal boxes which are attached to the exterior of your home. Inside you can store your house keys behind a security code - rather than leaving them under the doormat.
You can choose to add these a Key Safe to your Telecare alarm order, or you can buy them separately.

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
