Islington Telecare

Islington Telecare

Peace of mind in Islington

Choose independence with Telecare Choice in Islington. Telecare offers a personal alarm service to the elderly, disabled and frail, giving them 24/7 support from our monitoring centre.

The Telecare alarm is a small grey box which is controlled via a small red MyAmie pendant. The pendant can be worn around the users neck or on the users wrist for ease of activation. When the pendant is pressed, it activates an alarm call and help is arranged for the alarm user.

At Telecare, we offer a range of price packages to suit all budgets, you can see our pricing options here.

How does the alarm work?

Key Features

When the alarm is activated it uses the main telephone line to connect to our monitoring team.

The alarm features a built-in microphone and loudspeaker which is used by the monitoring team to speak to the user in Islington. The monitoring team assess the users situation and arrange assistance in the form of the users emergency contacts. If the user is experiencing a medical emergency, then the emergency services will be called.

We also offer a range of Telecare accessories which work well alongside the alarm, including a range of key safes and smoke detector.

The Telecare Alarm and Pendant

Featured Key Safe: Supra C500

The Supra C500 key safe is one of few Police approved key safes and has achieved the LPS1175 Level 1 security rating. This means that security experts have deemed the C500 as resistant to attack as a domestic front door.

The C500 has the ability to store up to six keys and features a push button, heavy duty locking mechanism.

    Pricing Plans

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.

Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.

Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.

The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.

Protecting Elderly People Across the UK

The elderly and disabled often need special measures to manage the risks associated with living alone.

This can lead to people moving into a home or residential care. We believe that this doesn't need to happen. Our Telecare Alarms assist the elderly and help them to remain safe in the comfort of their own home.

A Telecare Alarm service provides elderly people who live alone with somebody to call for help if they suffer a fall, feel unwell or need some reassurance. Simplicity is at the heart of the Telecare Alarm and our 24-hour service allows elderly people across the UK to remain confident in the comfort of their own home.

Remain independent and join the Telecare Choice community today to ensure that help is always available.

The fall alarm sensors and detectors on all devices use an algorithm to recognise the difference between ‘hard’ falls and other movements. They cannot guarantee to detect all falls because it is dependent on where and how it is worn and if it can detect the fall. For this reason if you have had a fall or need assistance you should press your emergency pendant or alarm box if you are able.
