What is a Telecare Coventry Alarm?
When you join the Coventry Telecare Service you will receive separate parts to the alarm. The first is the alarm base unit, which can be easily installed by the alarm user.
The alarm base unit needs to be plugged into the telephone socket so it is able to use the phone line to contact our UK based monitoring centre. An adapter is provided in the box.
The second part is the alarms MyAmie Pendant button. This can be worn around the neck or wrist. Should the alarm user fall, they can press the red button on the pendant and our monitoring centre will be alerted.
Alongside the Telecare Alarm we also have a range of Telecare Key Safes for you to purchase.
Keysafes are metal boxes which are attached to the exterior of your home. Inside you can store your house keys behind a security code - rather than leaving them under the doormat.
You can choose to add these Telecare accessories to your Telecare alarm order, or you can buy them separately.

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
