What is a Telecare Alarm?
Alarm Base Unit & Pendant Button
The Telecare Alarm base unit and pendant work together to provide a reassuring and often life-saving service.
If the pendant button is pressed, it activates the base unit and puts a call through to our care team in our UK based monitoring centre.
Our care team can then communicate with the user via a microphone and loudspeaker, assess the situation and arrange help in the form or friends, family, neighbours or the emergency services.
Telecare Keysafe
At Telecare Choice we also offer a range of accessories which compliment the personal alarm service.
We offer keysafes, which are small and secure metal boxes that can be attached to the exterior of your home. The boxes are accessed via a security code and used to keep spare house keys.
We also have a Smoke Detector available which can be connected with the alarm service. This means that if the smoke detector is triggered, it would activate a call to our care team and they would be able to arrange help for the user.

Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
