Our Telecare Choice Southampton alarm service is here to protect the elderly, vulnerable and disabled. Our aim is to help individuals live independently for as long as possible, whilst still giving them a helping hand if they should need it.
Each alarm boasts a speaker and microphone to speak to our 24-hour UK based monitoring centre. A pendant button is also included to be worn either around the neck or on the wrist for easy activation.

How does the Southamption Telecare Alarm Work?
The Alarm Unit
Our Telecare Southampton Alarm Service is quick and simple to use. The system comprises of a base unit and pendant button, which is worn by the user.
♦ If the user needs help, they press their button which activates the alarm and calls through to the monitoring centre.
♦ The call is received by the monitoring centre who speak to the user over the loudspeaker built into the alarm.
♦ The monitoring centre can then assist by arranging the appropriate help in the form of family, friends or the emergency services.
The Pendant
The alarms pendant is a very small and discreet button. It can be worn either around the neck on a cord, or around the wrist on an elastic strap.
The pendant has been developed to be very comfortable, and although it is discreet the red button is still big enough to make sure it's easy to press when needed.
The pendant has a range of 100 metres, so will usually cover the whole of a property, and sometimes some of the garden as well!

Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
