During your alarm set-up, you'll be asked to nominate some emergency contacts. These are the people you've listed to contact if you press your alarm in the event of an emergency. Our 24 hour monitoring team will get in touch with them if required to come and help you out. With this in mind, it's crucial to make sure your emergency contacts are people you trust, but also preferably people who have access to your house.
Anyone can be your emergency contact, however we would highly recommend choosing people who live within a reasonable distance of your house, so they can get to you in the event of an emergency.
Some of the most common emergency contact relations are:
- Close friends
- Family members
We would recommend adding in a selection of emergency contacts, in case we can't get hold of your primary contact in the event of an emergency.
