Telecare Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Telecare Alarm Service

A Telecare service for Wolverhampton

Our alarm service is protecting and assisting the elderly and disabled in Wolverhampton, and across the United Kingdom. A Telecare Alarm provides these people with an alternative to care homes and hospital wards. Instead, they can choose independence and remain in the comfort of their own home.

Telecare Choice is a provider that can be trusted, as we take our responsibilities very seriously and always maintain the highest standards possible. We ensure that our alarms can be accessed by anybody who needs it.

We have two price packages available and offer free next working day delivery on all of our alarms.

Telecare 24 Hour Service - Monitoring Centre

What is a Telecare Alarm?

Telecare Alarms - The Base Unit

The base unit for our Telecare service acts as the 'hub' of the system and allows our alarm users to communicate with the monitoring centre. It's easy to use and can be installed by the alarm user or a loved one. It needs to be plugged into the main's power and a telephone socket, with the telephone going into the back of the base unit.

The base unit includes a red help button which can be pressed in an emergency, as well as a green cancel button and a yellow away button for when the alarm user goes on holiday.

It also includes a built-in microphone and a loudspeaker, so that the alarm user can clearly hear and speak to the monitoring centre.

The Telecare Alarm and Pendant

Telecare Alarms - Wearable Pendant

Alongside the base unit, all of our alarm users also receive the wearable pendant. This clever little device has multiple wearing options, with users being able to wear it around their neck, wrist or on a belt via a clip.

The pendant's face has a red help button, which the wearer can press if they fall or feel unwell. Doing so will send an alert message through to the monitoring centre. A member of the team will respond within a few seconds, assess the situation and call for help.

The pendant can be worn in the bath or shower as it is waterproof, and there is no need to charge the device as it has a seven-year battery life. A free replacement will be issued as it begins to run low.

What our customers say about Telecare

  • Annie, Sunderland

I felt so much better coming out of hospital to a Telecare button. I'd had my knee replaced and was vulnerable to falls. It made me feel safer.

  • Dan, Cardiff

We've found that the alarm hasn't just benefited Mum's life but ours as well. We worry less knowing she can let people know if there's a problem.

  • Robert, Nottingham

The alarm has made a huge difference to Mum’s confidence and it definitely brings me a lot of comfort.

  • Dr. Spratt, Worcestershire

For patients at high risk of falls, living independently at home can be a real struggle. Telecare alarms help give them that extra confidence by making sure help is always readily available.

    Pricing Plans

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.

Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.

Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.

The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.

Protecting Elderly People Across the UK

The elderly and disabled often need special measures to manage the risks associated with living alone.

This can lead to people moving into a home or residential care. We believe that this doesn't need to happen. Our Telecare Alarms assist the elderly and help them to remain safe in the comfort of their own home.

A Telecare Alarm service provides elderly people who live alone with somebody to call for help if they suffer a fall, feel unwell or need some reassurance. Simplicity is at the heart of the Telecare Alarm and our 24-hour service allows elderly people across the UK to remain confident in the comfort of their own home.

Remain independent and join the Telecare Choice community today to ensure that help is always available.

The fall alarm sensors and detectors on all devices use an algorithm to recognise the difference between ‘hard’ falls and other movements. They cannot guarantee to detect all falls because it is dependent on where and how it is worn and if it can detect the fall. For this reason if you have had a fall or need assistance you should press your emergency pendant or alarm box if you are able.
