What Is A Telecare Alarm?
A Worcestershire Telecare Alarm consists of a base unit which is connected to the telephone line in the property, when the red button is pressed it activates an alarm call through to our monitoring team.
The monitoring team can then speak to the alarm user via the built-in microphone and loudspeaker, assess the situation, and arrange help in the form of emergency contacts.
Emergency contacts are usually friends, family, neighbours, loved ones or the emergency services if needed.
We recommend a Telecare Keysafe alongside the personal alarm service, as it is the perfect accompaniment to a Telecare alarm.
A Keysafe is a small metal box which can be attached to the exterior of a property and is used to house spare keys. The keys can then be accessed via a secure code chosen by the user.
Keysafes are extremely beneficial in emergency situations as the code can be passed to emergency contacts or the emergency services. This means the emergency contacts will be able to access the property quickly and efficiently without forcing entry and causing any damage.

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
